Scottish soprano Emily Wishart and Finnish pianist Mianoora Kosonen are a vocal–piano duo brought together by a shared love of collaboration, language, and storytelling through music. The duo was formed during their studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2018 and have worked together since.

As a duo, Emily and Mianoora are particularly drawn to Scottish and Nordic Song, exploring both well-loved repertoire and lesser-known works, and seeking out new music that reflects their shared curiosity. Their performances invite audiences into an intimate setting of song, where text, sound, and story come together.
